John had been delinquent on taxes in 1931 and 1935.

" The son of Ed Orr and Alice Everhart Orr.
Assistant Supervisor at Chicago Feed and Fertilizer Plant in 1918, by 1920 he was the Supervisor.
His widowed father-in-law, Marcus " Mark" Lloyd Coplin provided a home for William and Willo after their marriage, they lived with Mark in La Porte City in 1910.The young couple removed to Calumet where William was employed before 1916.
Mark came to live with Willo and William in West Hammond Calumet , Illinois and remained there until his death it is presumed. He was there for the birth of his only grandchild Anna Virginia Orr on March 8, 1917.

ALICE

A park noted in the 1894 La Porte ordinance is Burson Park, which was located at the intersection of First, B and Madison streets. There was a relationship of an Elizabeth Bursonbeing an aunt to Alice Orr, but nothing official has been located about a connection to the park.

Richard "Dick" E. Belote, age 91, Rome, GA, passed away Tuesday evening, May 13, 2014. Richard was born in Evanston, Illinois on March 28, 1923, son of the late Edwin Irving Belote and the late Leo Orr Belote. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Vivien Landrum Belote, and his sister, Margaret Belote Morse.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Bray Belote, to whom he married on June 6, 1996; his 2 daughters, Leigh Belote Jones, and husband, Bruce, SC; and Bonnie Belote Futrell, and husband, Price, Smyrna; 3 step-children, Lee Boatright, and wife, Linda, Smyrna, David Boatright, Rome, Donnie Boatright, Woodstock; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Jones, and wife, Heather, SC, Marie Jones Jenness, and husband, Brandon, UT, Stephanie Northen, and husband, Michael Harbour, CA, Julie Northen Milam, and husband, Adam, NY, Laura Northen, Atlanta, and step-granddaughter, Jennifer Boatright Floyd, and husband, Robert, Marietta; two great-grandchildren.
